Dry skin

Normal dry skin (xerosis) generally isn't severe, but it can be rough and unattractive, rotating plump cells into dried-up ones and making wrinkles and fine lines. More severe dry skin conditions, such as the hereditary group of disorders called ichthyosis, can sometimes be damage enough to origin psychological distress.

Auspiciously, most dry skin outcome from environmental cause that can be entirely or partly controlled. These contain disclosure to hot or cold weather conditions with low humidity levels, continuing use of central heating or air conditioning, and too much bathing.

Constant or severe dry skin problems may need a dermatologist's appraisal. But first you can maintain your skin by your own, as well as using moisturizers, bathing less and avoiding harsh, drying soaps.
